Gaddafi / Blair

Gaddafi

There are two common threads caught up in the people’s rebellion that is encompassing Northern Africa today, 1. the Weapons and Arms Industry dominated by America, the UK, France and others, and 2  The Banks in New York, UK, Paris, Switzerland etc where the personal fortunes of despot dictators are hidden away in their murky vaults and where every pound, dollar or euro of business is steeped in the blood of the oppressed, imprisoned, tortured and murdered. What moral authority do Banks claim when seeking business with merchants of torture, death and oppression?

Blair

The deal agreed with the UK and Libya 2007 is again being revisited and receiving closer examination especially after the rebellion and turmoil in Libya these past few weeks. In 2007 Tony Blair embarked on a risky incursion into unchartered waters with the Gaddafi regime. He understood the potential ramifications if his efforts failed but the endgame of getting Gaddafi off his programme of weapons of mass destruction (WMD’s), nuclear weapons and support for terrorism was a worthy effort but alas as evidenced in Libya today it did not stop his continued oppression of his own people. The end is nigh for Gaddafi and his murderous regime. It cannot come too soon.
