Only a small part of the Hamilton West & Earnock Ward lies within the Lanark & Hamilton East constituency boundary with only a few streets in the Chantinghall/Laighstonehall area of Hamilton to the west of the Ward between the Hamilton South and the Hamilton North & East Council Ward boundaries.
